1. Encourage their enjoyment of books and stories:

If a child like books, he will enjoy reading. If he like reading, he will enjoy learning. If you have to force your child to read, it will be much harder for both of you, take longer, and may even cause your child to dislike reading altogether.

2.Turn off the television:

The books will most likely be left on the shelves if your television is on all day. Not only is television incredibly addicting for tiny children, forming a difficult-to-break negative habit, but it also teaches them that the television is essential; and, more concerning, that what the television says is important.

Turning off the television has several advantages, but the most important one for this article is that it will encourage your children to read more.Children will pick up the books you have placed in each room and read for fun if there are no other distractions.

3.Buy the right books:

A primer teaches the rules of reading, beginning with the phonetic sounds of each letter. It then progressing to blending, through to difficult multi-syllabic words.

By the time your child finishes one of these primers, you can be completely confident that they can tackle any other book out there.
